About
I have lived in the town of Kingsville (46 years) since I was a child , grew up here and am so happy that I got to raise my children here in this beautiful small quaint town of Kingsville. I am a mother of 2 daughters and 2 son-in-laws and grandmother of 3 grandchildren. I work part-time at one of our local grocery stores for 28 years now. I have volunteered at many functions at our local Legion for more than 35 years. I am a people person with a positive attitude, I am honest and will be very open and up front. I will speak for the people and bring to the table what they want. Best of luck to all the nominees in this election.
How do you feel about our waterfront?
The waterfront at Lakeside Park Pavillion is pretty much non existent when you rent this venue for your private event. I feel that you should be able to see the lakefront when renting the Pavillion. I feel the trees and bushes should be trimmed so you can enjoy the view. The renters of the boat wells and regular patrons should be called upon to have a meeting about The Cedar Island boat ramp area. This way they can let their wishes for improvements be known. Ways of improvement that are affordable can be discussed (such as grants) to help with the cost of improvements so that taxes aren’t raised a significant amount.
Traffic is one of the top issues facing our town. If elected, what would you do to fix this problem on the main streets( Main & Division)?
would recommend stop building subdivisions and condos that have entrances and exits on Main St. The traffic is way too heavy in our little town. More traffic studies and try to figure out a way to reroute people a different way if they dont need to go through town.
